Hello, Folks.
Every year, Strawberry sells out, and people come here hoping to exchange tickets. A few guidelines...
- Please, if you are selling tickets, post where you are and a direct contact method (phone number).
- Please only sell tickets at face value, its the Strawberry Way.
- If you are responding to someone selling tickets, get directly ahold of them, they may not read this board again for days.
- Lots of tickets usually become available on the last few days just before the Festival. So, please kick back and relax, and check back often.
- I recommend you only buy tickets directly in person, don't respond to phone calls from Chicago of someone who's got his brother-in-law's bookie's tickets that he wants you to use a Western Union Escrow service, thats a rip-off.
- Three day camping tickets can always be upgraded to Four day camping tickets at the gate on Thursday for the difference in price.
- Child tickets for 5-12 are always available at the gate.
- 1 Day (no camping) tickets can NOT be upgraded.
- 1 Day (no camping) tickets are for any single day, they aren't specific to a day.
- If you've posted tickets for sale, please come back and 'edit' your post to indicate you've sold them (change the subject line). If you've posted that you want tickets, and you get them, please edit your post to indicate this, too. When I notice this, I'll lock the thread. If something happens and the tickets become available again, start a new thread...
So, in summary....- buying or selling?
- how many?
- where are you?
- how can someone contact you?
Anyone who wants you to use Western Union or a similar wire service is PROBABLY RIPPING YOU OFF!!!
