We're startin' early for Springberry 2010 so hopefully we can get this resolved by the time the festival comes rollin' around. We have some friends (newbies) who have a 41' RV bus and want to camp with us out in Coyote Meadows. Will the Strawberry folks let them drive in on the main road instead of needlin' through the trees? |

| That will be the biggest rig I've ever seen go there. You should hope for a dry year. |

a friend of ours camps up there in a pretty big RV, I think its a 38' or something. Its technically a class C but its the biggest darn class C I've ever seen, the cab looks like a big towtruck or something, has double popout sides etc.
I don't think they could let anyone go in the 'main' road as everyone is heading OUT that way on setup day, and they aren't going to clear all the roads for 1/2 an hour for one RV
I believe the route in is down towards the lake on Birch Lake Rd, then across on Yosemite Trails, up Rock in the Road, then the Hog Ranch Rd towards Coyote Meadows. see http://strawberrymusic.com/MatherMapGigantic.html for reference. |

If it either rains or snows late in the spring, Coyote Meadow might be closed or have limited accessibility. That could make this a moot point.
Also, this is a question best asked directly of the management of Strawberry Music, Inc. Give 'em a buzz on the telephone. They're the ones who will make the call. I assert that Strawberry will make things work for y'all, though it might not be how YOU want it to be. It will work and it will take into consideration what is going on the day of your friends' arrival. |
